This were all made on film which is my preferred format, these however were 35 mm and since then I have advanced on to medium format. I do not prefer either but both work in different ways depending on what I'm shooting. I prefer this format as I feel the art of image making doesn't fully come from making the image within camera but the process of printing it, being hand on and printing in the darkroom suits me well as I enjoy to manually make my work and also gives me the freedom for brilliant experimentation with the negatives, chemicals, and paper. This works either as a great gain to the conceptual side of my work or just a learning curve for new processes I hadn't done before.

Unsure of where I wanted my visual practice to lead this term I began looking through my previous projects and deciding what ones I enjoyed the most. As I felt enjoyability was the most important thing at this stage in order to keep me motivated in making images.

This is a shoot from a project exploring the connection between the Urban and Rural environments  and was double exposed to represent the overlay of both but also the domination of our urban way of living. I really want to explore the effects we are having on the natural world through our careless way of living. Damaging and demolishing the very thing that keeps us alive.
